Our Chief Executive
Linda Dunbar is a communications expert with extensive crisis communications experience.
A curious, lifelong learner, she is passionate about business and energized by the world around her. Leveraging her strategic, creative, and Fortune 500 leadership skills, she helps companies engage stakeholders and has a keen eye for what works – and what does not.
Throughout her life, she has been fascinated by culture, how people do things and why. This permeates her work across multiple countries and cultures. In addition to working in the United States, she has traveled to many locales to collaborate with colleagues in Austria, Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Japan, the Slovak Republic, Sweden, and Switzerland. She has have lived, worked, and studied in Japan and France. She speaks English, Japanese, and French.
Linda graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies. She earned a Master of Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School, co-administered by Tufts and Harvard Universities.
A native New Yorker with 15+ years of experience in international business communications, Linda has access to a wide variety of diverse minds who can help evaluate your proposed products, initiatives, and campaigns in confidence.
Carmen E. Hughes is a corporate diversity consultant and career coach who helps organizations and individuals to implement change, realize their potential, and achieve success beyond what they thought possible.
Carmen’s background as an HR leader is unique, having worked previously as a senior executive in sales on the trading floor of a major investment bank. During her 20-year career on Wall Street, she played an active role in developing talent and helping the company implement robust diversity recruiting and retention initiatives with measurable success. She soon realized that her background gave her a unique perspective into the business and she had an opportunity to influence the future of the firm. With this objective she successfully transitioned into Human Resources as the Head of Campus Recruiting and Leadership Development.
The importance of giving back to her community was instilled in her at a young age and is still part of her ethos today. Carmen is active in various capacities in her community and serves on the Board for Waterside School and Gabrielle’s Wings.
She is also a member of the Stamford Council for the United Way of Western Connecticut.
Carmen received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University’s School of Business. She loves to travel with her husband and three kids, play golf and has a passion for running (to date, she has completed two marathons and many half marathons).
